We were pleased to take part in the Reusable & Refillable Packaging Conference, which took place from 3–4 December 2025 in Berlin. During the event, we had the opportunity to introduce our Smart DRS solution as a secure, convenient, and affordable technology for the return of reusable and refillable packaging.
The conference focused mainly on the upcoming EU legislation on PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation), which sets specific percentage targets for different types of reusable packaging. In terms of materials, participants particularly highlighted reusable PET bottles, returnable glass, and reusable cups.
Our Smart DRS solution generated strong interest among attendees, who were keen to understand which materials could be covered by such a deposit return system. With the right system design, the material itself does not represent a barrier to implementing Smart DRS.
Our colleague Tomáš Vincze also impressed the audience with his presentation. He introduced the technology in detail, including its safety features and user benefits, and announced the first pilot projects that will bring Smart DRS into practice.
